Are you also sharing the Zombie News experience with him?
He is having issues with adware, specifically Zombie News. He signed into Chrome with his Google account. He got some Zombie News adware and fake search engine set as his homepage and a few malicious extensions. He reformatted his PC and installed the Chrome in order to remove Zombie News. However, it comes back as soon as he logs into Chrome with his Google account because all of his settings were being synced. Additionally, Zombie News pops up randomly when he clicks links and some times redirects him to spam or irrelevant sites. It has totally has him stumped.
